by: Christopher Marlowe
Was this the face that launch'd a thousand ships,
And burnt the topless towers of Ilium?
Sweet Helen, make me immortal with a kiss.
Her lips suck forth my soul: see where it flies!
Come, Helen, come, give me my soul again.
Here will I dwell, for heaven is in these lips,
And all is dross that is not Helena.
I will be Paris, and for love of thee,
Instead of Troy, shall Wittenberg be sack'd;
And I will combat with weak Menelaus,
And wear thy colours on my plumed crest;
Yea, I will wound Achilles in the heel,
And then return to Helen for a kiss.
O, thou art fairer than the evening air
Clad in the beauty of a thousand stars;
Brighter art thou than flaming Jupiter
When he appear'd to hapless Semele;
More lovely than the monarch of the sky
In wanton Arethusa's azur'd arms;
And none but thou shalt be my paramour!

So we'll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart still be as loving,
And the moon still be as bright.
For the sword outwears its sheath,
And the soul outwears the breast,
And the heart must pause to breathe,
And love itself have rest.
Though the night was made for loving,
And the day returns too soon,
Yet we'll go no more a-roving
By the light of the moon.

note: Sorting the mails on my dropbox, poemhunter sent this wonderful poem. A Great Theme for Moogie Wonderland eh... Another great poem of Lord Byron was The Dream, but its so long i opted not to post it here, so just go check the link.

Music: Hope Sandoval and the Warm Inventions - "Suzanne"
Suzanne is waiting at your doorway
and all she does is waste your time
and she looks just like my sister
but she feels just like my man...
And all the times I mean to tell her
The cats in here are over-flowin'
She pulls aside a four leaf clover
And makes me feel right on my own...
Suzanne.. Suzanne..

For when you want
more than a newspaper and soda.
Now u bookworm fetish out there.. hear this!
Is this A familiar scene? -> Do you crave for a book in the middle of a night and wondered.. why you don't have a copy yet and wish to have one that very instent?
Well lucky you if you fancy Homer, Baudelaire or Lewis Carroll and live in Paris !! *Ehem
Paris have currently 5 vendos spread in diff locations.. another wonderful thing about this great place!! Aaaaah... when will i ever visit this place?!! (And with who?) lol
How about if you want a book that is just not available in those vendos?
Well, lucky you if you live in Chesterfield, Missouri... coz you can have your Books In Minutes — While You Wait! Yes.. it will take your order, access the book’s digital files from the publisher’s Internet site, download, print, glue, trim and hand it over in just 12 minures! OMG! pff.. now imagine War and Peace in 12 minutes then.. hmm...
And elesewhere...
If you think a book vending machine is a strangely convenient thing... go to Japan and avail your book choice or the latest DVD at their vendo (note that the site is in Japanese tho)
Very convenient indeed... now when will these erm arrive in my country? tssk..

If you're a bit techie and using a Nokia and not satisfied with your Media features, maybe this Helpful Tip will liven up those ear-candy munching senses...
When Nokia announced their music player capable phones they neglected to mention the lack of support for external headphones. Since the release of the 6230 and its related family with mp3/aac playback support, many disgruntled users have made their own home-brew cables to plug in headphones.
Here's one such mod for the Nokia HDS-3 cable. The mod includes an analog volume dial integrated into the push to talk unit. The HDS-3 cable ships with the 6230 and other Nokia phones capable of stereo playback.
Follow the step by step instruction >>

My ideal Job according to the predictor is...
A Circus Freak who is a Mermaid that emerged from the sea and strips at night, who got jailed for illegally driving a Dodgem that beats all the red lights for the unknown reason of not being able to press the brakes and sidelines as a Puppeteer in children's parties during Fridays, who is also inlove with a Trained Assassin who also works at the same circus as a Stand Up Comedian and bashes Harry Potter with his cynical jokes, but really dreams of being a Ping pong ball inspector. And to pay up for my blogs, I swim up north to work as a Litter Warden in London.

You scored as Romanticist. Romanticism encourages society to look backwards to find our solutions. Your rationale is that things were much better a few hundred years ago so we should thus look back to those times and replace them in our modern society. You believe in a simple life and that the complexities of the modern world have turned it upside down.

dreaming away.. hoping wishing...
Well, i wish i can be in Paris two weeks from now. But sadly, the earliest i can get hold of my passport is on the 19th. And i sure do need that long time awaited vacation! Maybe a birthday leave or something.. hmm...
funny horoscope said yesterday... "Being overstimulated can be understimulating in the long run. Why not try turning off everything except for your brain? Go for a nice walk. Pick up a book. Have a quiet chat with an old friend." And i add... "...or travel with that friend you're chatting with!" Heee ('c',)
hmmm.. and a song goes thru my head...
K Stars
Stereolab
They were young
in their mid-twenties
some in their teens
They were intelligent
and some believed
were geniuses
They were passionate
wildly in love
adventurous
Well they were exuberant
capable of hate
extreme anger
They were drawn
towards the exceptional
They avoided work
but worked hard on their laziness
and evermore
it seems their walk
wandering through Paris
was a genuine art

I thought of you and how you love this beauty,
And walking up the long beach all alone
I heard the waves breaking in measured thunder
As you and I once heard their monotone.
Around me were the echoing dunes, beyond me
The cold and sparkling silver of the sea --
We two will pass through death and ages lengthen
Before you hear that sound again with me.
-----
note: ive been meaning to post this at twisted thoughts but this is a poem not mine but thoughts like mine. And before I could ever hear the same sound with You, it might take another lifetime. Are we but willing to wait that long?
