Here's a trick I use.

1) Get a geocities account. Create a webspace you don't plan on losing. In fact, better if you actually use webspace in Geocities. That means the storage ain't going to be lost any time soon.

2) upload your jpgs in a directory of your choice in geocities.

3) rename the files using the File Manager of geocities as .txt

4) Go to Blogger, sign in then at your settings area, find the section on the "right/left column or sidebar" there, you can post the following code for the images. The brackets are to identify sections.

(IMG SRC = " [url of file with txt extension] " )

That should work.
